The date is drawing near, and there is so much more planning to do. You've got the dress and the tux is on the way; you've hired an officiant or made arrangements with your minister; the rings are almost finished; the cake is being crafted to perfection; and you've finally gotten your license to tie the knot. Now, aren't you forgetting a crucial aspect of this once in a lifetime tradition? Well, what about the wedding venues. Do you have a place picked out and reserved? The funny thing about my wedding is that this was the last thing we decided on, even after the honeymoon and all. The date was pretty close before we had the exact venue arranged. Needless to say, the wedding invitations got out a bit late.
There's no easy way when it comes to choosing the absolute best place to have your wedding ceremony. Maybe you grew up with a certain church and your better half did the same, but sadly they're completely different churches. Or worse, they're completely different religions. Then where do you go from here? How can you find potential wedding venues that suit both parties? Hey, you can do what many of us do, who are not religious. You can have an officiant marry you where ever you please. We did this in a beautiful courtyard in Savannah, Georgia. It was outstanding to say the least. Tears streamed down my wife's cheeks as we said our vows. Okay, so it was me, but that's beside the point.
| Quote of the Day |
Women who marry early are often overly enamored of the kind of man who looks great in wedding pictures and passes the maid of honor his telephone number.

When it comes to wedding venues, many people are led to believe that a church is the only way to go. Must I remind everyone that marriage was not originally a religious thing? Folks have just made it into one over time. Take a chance and get online to see infinite wedding venues that will make any couple cry with happiness. There are so many beautiful areas in America alone where you can tie the knot. If you're looking to save a little dough, you may want to choose an outside area, such as a park or serene spot by a lake or ocean. It certainly makes for some outstanding wedding photos afterwards. Also keep in mind the guests when searching for those perfect wedding venues. How far they have to travel can be an issue if you're not simply eloping.
