How about the wedding photos? Did you lock in a photographer yet? If not, here are some tips to help you make the right choice and what to look for when choosing.
This day will happen only once. You will definitely want to make it the most memorable moments of your life. Why not capture that moment on film, to keep for a lifetime? When choosing a photographer, there are several things to consider such as the cost of the package. This is a primary concern among most people, as budget plays a large roll in the planning of a wedding most of the time. So what is it that you should look for when picking out a photographer? This little guide will guide you through the ins and outs of picking a wedding photographer. You should begin with the needs that you may have. Decide if there any situations that may require a little more time with the photographer. Are there any situations where it may cost substantial amounts more than normal? If so, you may find that the cost will go up rather quickly.
Considering the cost of a good photographer can indeed sum up to as much as your honeymoon. You will definitely want to do some homework on the various studios that are in your area. Have you decided on the type of package that you may want? There are many available, for the very cheap and not much too it, right down to the insane bank breaking photo shoots. You will probably be somewhere in the middle. Many packages now have the engagement shoot included in the cost, which is a nice touch. Many of the packages can include prints in color, black and white, or the very charming and different sepia.

When going in for an appointment to see a photographer, you will obviously want to be shown some of there prior work as they will have a portfolio handy. You can request to see lots of the work, not just some of there very best. You want to see any minor or major errors that they may have committed. This will give you a good idea what kind of dedication they have for their career. When a mistake is made, it is far too late to correct, as the day is already done and long gone. No second chances are given and this is supposed to be the greatest moment of your life. You should have it complete and fully intact.
You will also need to decide on how many picture prints you need and want. Both sets of parents will want photos, as well as friends and family member. This will easily cost more, and the larger the photos, the higher the price. As the bride, you will want a larger-sized picture suitable for framing. You need to be prepared for these costs. It is very easy to incur costs when picking out a package. Generally, you will take an hour and a half for the photo session after the ceremony. This will be the bulk of the package. This session will be the most important part of the package, as it will entail the bride and groom and most likely the immediate family such as parents, as well as the wedding party. It should be noted that wedding insurance would be a good idea when it comes to a photographer. It is an understanding that if the photographer makes costly errors you do not pay. It will give the photographer the incentive to do the best work they can do. This is pretty much the way it will be with all vendors. Insurance is a must. If you like, you could ask if they do video as well. This is a wonderful way to capture the ceremony. Of course, you might have to get consent from your church prior to the ceremony. Sometimes they do not allow cameras at the front of the church. Sometimes they will however, allow them in the back of the church. It would be best to inquire before booking a videographer. Also, one good way to get fun photos is to give your guests disposable cameras to use after the ceremony. Just make sure the cameras get left at the reception.
