As the years go on and weddings become more complex, what do you do for the bride and groom that follow that untraditional trend that seems to be increasingly popular? Avoid the wedding registry and get them something unique. A wedding registry is a great idea, as it keeps the bride and groom from getting fifteen of the same toaster or blender. If many of the guests feel they really know the newlywed couple, they may all go out to a store and get the same sheet set in the same color and thread count. This can make for an interesting thank you cards, as all you would have to do is say thanks for the lovely sheet set to so everyone.

What if you wanted to do something original? Your gift giving can be spontaneous and zany to spice things up a bit. Just remember to stay away from the monotony of the gift giving process. Here are a few ideas to take you away from the norm and into the fun of wedding gift giving.

Couples Day Spa

How about giving a long day at the spa to the newlywed couple. This would be a great get away that could include hot tub time, couple massage, mud treatments and facials, manicures, and pedicures. This will indeed soothe the stress of the long trip it took to get to where they are now. This will be very relaxing and can be quite romantic.

These quaint little get a ways are wonderful for a cozy and warm little trip for the weekend, and make for a romantic escape. Sneaking off for the weekend after a long and laborious wedding planning is indeed a much-needed reprise from the hectic ordeal. Keep it simple and sweet when giving this type of gift; keep it close to home perhaps in the next state. This way it is like they are traveling yet making the trip a mere few hours in total. Some of these bed and breakfast establishments are very rich in charm, very easy to swoon a young couple in love. This will also give a small business repeat business if the couple enjoyed themselves, and will surely recommend.

It may seem crazy at first, however there are many men out there that just have no desire to dance with their wives, or perhaps don't dance at all. Giving the couple dance lessons could be a great way to have the man up and moving around in no time, this can be very romantic and can put some sizzle in the relationship.

It goes with sporting events, as the wife may find it a touch on the boring side and in turn they tend to spend less time with each other.

Here is a great way to spark the private time up. It could include candles, body oils, scents, fine liquors, and perhaps some playful toys. This will indeed not go to waste and will keep the new couple smiling long after the honeymoon. This is a great gift to give as you ensure you are keeping the romance alive in a quaint little basket.
