Home Theater Projectors

Remember the good old days of heading out to the movie theater on a Friday night? Yeah, that was the BOMB when I was a kid. I'll bet you can say the same thing. Depending on your age, the price I'm sure varied. When I was in junior high school and living in a tiny one-horse town, a fun and eventful night at the movies cost me a whopping 2.50. Hey, I'm not lying. And this would have only been about 16 years ago. That's really not that far in the past. No every time I head out to the theater, it costs me 8.50. WOW have times ever changed. I think a little too much. Should movie theater prices really have increased this much? It's not we're watching Phantom of the Opera, LIVE. Needless to say, movies have reached a point of absurdity. I often wonder if our nation will soon resort to home theater projectors, and diss the expensive theaters altogether.

Imagine the possibilities with in-home movie theaters. This would go great in any American home. It's one of our favorite past-times. We simply can't get enough action, drama, suspense, romance and horror. I was watching an episode of the "Newlyweds" the other day, and they had an awesome home theater set-up. I was so jealous. It's certainly ideal when you have a room solely set up for this. You can simply step across the hallway and catch a flick on the big screen. I would love to be able to watch 70s and 80s horror flicks on home theater projectors that expand the images to life-size. "Halloween" would rule on one of these.

 Quote of the Day
Going home must be like going to render an account.
—Joseph Conrad (1857–1924)

Talk about entertaining your friends and family. Wouldn't it be great to invite them all over for a cook-out and then you could all just kick back in your personal movie theater? Put on the latest release and enjoy it the way it was meant to be watched. Now, if you're seriously wondering and already planning on purchasing home theater projectors, you should remember that they're not that expensive. College classrooms use these all the time. Unless you're going all out and building an addition onto your home to view films in, basic home theater projectors are affordable.
